The tart grandmother Mary


  • 300 gr. flour
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 200 gr. of butter
  • 200 gr. of sugar
  • 1 packet of yeast
  • 1 grated lemon peel
  • marmalade as desired (apricot, blueberries, berries)


Stir in a bowl the flour, egg yolks, sugar, baking powder, lemon zest and butter that we have previously melted over a flame. We work the mixture until a smooth paste, the paste wrapped in a paper tissue from the kitchen and put it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Butter a pie dish and smear the mixture, leaving a little ‘part in order to prepare the strips of dough that will serve us later.

After we spread the mixture, add the jam and the previously prepared strips of dough to form a kind of network.

Note at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.
