Ciambellone ginger

Ingredients for 6 persons:

  • 200 grams of wheat flour
  • 100 grams of white flour
  • 100 grams of sugar cane
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 grams of cream
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon powdered ginger
  • 50 g of jelly fish
  • 1 lemon

 

Preparazione:

Melt the butter in a double boiler, let cool and add it to the cream, break the eggs into a bowl, combine the sugar and whip with a whisk, slowly add the flour, ginger, baking powder and the mixture of butter and cream, continuing to mount with the whip. Pour the mixture into a mold with a central hole previously buttered and floured and bake in oven at 170 degrees for about an hour. Meanwhile wash a lemon, grated zest and squeeze the juice, pour the whole into a saucepan with the apricot jam, stirring over low heat for two minutes. Baked the cake and pour over the warm jam.
