Custard apple and amaretto

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 150 grams of sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 2 apples
  • 6 macaroons

Ingredients for the caramel:

  • 250g of sugar
  • few drops of lemon juice



Boil the milk with the vanilla, beat with a whisk the whole eggs and yolks with the sugar, then pour the warm milk and filtered. Prepare the caramel by putting sugar in a saucepan and cook it with 80 grams of water and lemon juice until they begin to brown, pour into a mold, also slightly veiling the walls of the mold, place the apples on the bottom cut slices, and crumble over the macaroons and filled with cream. Bake in water bath in oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Let cool and place in refrigerator before serving.
